All that glitters is not gold but may be worth nicking!

The other day an envelope was stuffed through my letterbox.  It contained a medium sized, plastic pouch – pre addressed to a “Cash for Gold” company.  I’m afraid it went straight into the re-cycling, but not before I noticed the message printed on it.  It said something like “This is the most secure way to send your Gold through the post”!  I remember laughing because it seemed as though it was the most INSECURE way of posting your gold through the post. 

Of all the shipping companies you might choose from, why would you select a golden coloured plastic pouch with “GOLD” written all over it?  Isn’t it just saying “Steal me now”?  If you’re sending precious items of jewellery through the post, the Royal Mail offers a good service.  [Read more...]
