It is every bride’s dream to make her wedding day the most memorable day of her life. Whether it is the food, her dress or the wedding jewelry, everything should be perfect on such a special day.
There is nothing more special than to find the perfect wedding jewelry that compliments the wedding dress in a perfect way. The bridal look looks complete only when it is accessorized with beautiful wedding jewelry. In order to buy it there are a few tips that should be kept in mind.
1) The most important tip of buying the perfect kind of wedding jewelry is to identify the overall theme of your wedding. For instance, if the overall theme of your wedding is formal then choose the type of jewelry that looks classy and elegant according to the theme. And if the wedding theme is a bit more funky, then bright colourful jewelry pieces would complement the theme.
2) Always consider your budget before finalising anything. It is a fact that every bride would prefer something precious to be worn on her wedding day but it is not possible for those brides who have a very limited budget. If your budget is limited than opt for inexpensive options which look as precious as the real ones but would cost you a lot less.
3) Always make sure that your wedding jewelry goes well with your wedding dress. It should complement the style of your gown. For instance, if your dress is purely white with all white embroidery, then the best choice would be to go either with white gold jewelry, pearls, platinum or diamond.
The above mentioned are the key tips that one must consider while buying wedding jewelry. Always make sure that you buy something appropriate for yourself because wedding day is a day that would come only once in your life so it has to be perfect in every sense. If you consider these tips while buying jewelry for yourself then it is most likely that you will end up buying something unique, beautiful and stylish at a very appropriate price.
The Most Precious Stones Of The World
Precious stones are the minerals which are used for the purpose of jewely making and ornamental purposes. There are categories in which precious stones are divided some of them are very precious while others are semi precious.
All precious stones possess some kind of unique beauty and such attributes can be identified by considering the hardness, rarity, colour or colourlessness of the stones. It is a fact that some stone are more precious than the others. For instance, diamond is considered to be a very precious stone but still there are many different types of diamonds and every one type of diamond is different from the other in terms of preciousness.
The most precious stones which are commonly used for the purpose of jewellery making or just as accessory consist of; topaz, amethyst, emerald, opal, pearls, diamond, ruby, zicron and many others. The value of each type of stone differs on the basis of their colour or colourlessness, availability, quality, cut, hardness, uniqueness etc.
The more rarely available the stone is the more precious it is considered. Like; the black diamond is a very rare type of diamond which makes it quite precious from other types of diamonds. But at the same time, the preciousness of diamonds also depends upon the type of cut they possess. If a very rare type of diamond is not treated with great craftsmanship it can ruin the whole preciousness of the diamond.
Similarly, some pearls are more precious than others it depends on how they are grown and in which region of the world they come from. It can be the case where stones are not much precious but they are attached to gold or platinum ring, therefore their value increases to an extent. Considering different stones, it is said that diamond is one of the most precious and valuable one as compared to opal or amethyst.
Lastly, it is a very wrong practice to judge the preciousness of a particular stone solely on its price. Because what happens is that when a certain precious stone is in fashion, its price goes up automatically as compared to other stones.
Modern And Classic Jewelry Trends
Jewelry has been a very important part of every woman’s life since many centuries. Till this day, jewelry is regarded as the most important accessory and it can make or break your stylish and trend setting personality.
Although, there are many different categories in which jewelry trends can be divided but the two main categories in which jewelry can easily be divided include modern jewelry trends and classic jewelry trends. The difference between both the trends are explained below.
Classic Jewelry Trends
Classic or sometimes vintage jewels are regarded as something from the previous era. You can find such type of jewelry in antique shops. Other than antique pieces there are still some jewellers who create jewelry based on classic trends. Although such pieces are created in today’s time but they reflect the classic era.
Such type of classic jewelry is made out of precious metals and it will usually cost you a lot. Especially, those antique pieces that were created many years ago. If you are looking for a classic vintage jewellery piece, it is better to find them at specialised or antique stores that deal solely with such type of pieces.
Classic trends indicate that the jewellery which was created previously included a lot of detail. Such detailing required skilful craftsmanship and hard work.
Modern Jewelry Trends
Unlike classic jewelry, modern is something which is created while considering the latest fashion trends. Modern jewelry is considered to be much more practical in terms of wearing. Although there is a lot of detailing but the modern detailing is quite different from the classic one.
Modern jewelry is also made out of precious stones, pearls and precious metals but other than that there are many semi precious as well as other metals and materials with which modern styled jewelry is made. Clay, plastic, ceramic, etc all such materials are used for making jewellery pieces.
Hence, it all depends on personal choice whether an individual goes for classic trends or modern trends. Just make sure that whichever trend you go for it must suit your personality and character and should reflect the true individuality of yours.
Everything About Jewellery
Jewellery is the most important accessory that is worn by every woman on many different occasions. Whether it is a wedding, party or just an informal get together jewellery is something which makes you look different from others.

Different Types Of Pearls
Pearls are considered to be a type of precious stones which are used as jewellery pieces like; bracelets, rings, necklaces, wedding bands, etc. There are many different types of pearls and some of them are more precious than the others.
• The most valuable pearls are said to be the freshwater pearls. These pearls are naturally grown in mussels and it takes about 1 to 2 years to harvest them. 20 or more pearls can be grown within a single mussel.
• Another type of pearls are the Japanese cultured pearls. As the name indicates these pearls are associated with Japan. These pearls come in variety of different colours like; gold, rose, cream and white.
• South Sea pearls are also considered as precious ones. As the name suggests, these pearls are produced within the South Sea.
• The most expensive type of pearls are the saltwater cultured pearls. These pearls are produced within the oysters in the saltwater. The time required to grow these specific types of pearls is around 2 and a half years. The reason why these pearls are so expensive is that each oyster can grow only one pearl at a single time. There are different colours of saltwater pearls but the most precious and rare are the black pearls which are grown in Tahiti saltwater.
• A large dome shaped pearl which is usually used for making rings is the Mabe pearl. These pearls are produced by attaching a plastic hemispherical structure inside the oyster shell which is then covered by the oyster. During the harvesting of these pearls the pearl is cut off from the shell and the inner side of the mabe is filled with some sort of substance to give it a bit weight.
Hence, these are just a few types of pearls which are used for making beautiful jewellery pieces. Other than these, there are many other different types of pearls that are grown all around the world. The colour, weight and make of pearls determine their preciousness. It is said that naturally grown pearls are more valuable than the cultured pearls.
What type of Jewellery is best? Quality or quantity?
Diamond or cubic zircona OR 1 diamond or 100 cubic zirconas? In my opinion i would always go for the real thing but then again i have had the 100 cubic zirconas and although they were lovely they are, ultimately disposable and not worth much unless they have sentimental value.
With real diamonds, pearls or precious stones you treasure them as an investment piece or as a family heirloom. They can be passed from generation to generation or sold at a later date as genuine jewellery can often go up in value.
